The Certified Private Equity Analyst (CPEA) program was developed in cooperation with the  Bundesverband Beteiligungskapital (BVK) and has now been established on the market for more than 10 years. Through high-ranking lecturers from science and business, this certified program offers a sound education at the highest academic level – with maximum reference to entrepreneurial practice. In this way, we create a uniform quality framework for the continuing education of the naturally heterogeneous group of investment managers and investment professionals who come into contact with the asset classes of private equity and venture capital.

The CPEA certificate program comprises 5 modules of 3 days each. The modules provide a concrete guide through all phases of the investment process and cover all relevant topics for the private equity and venture capital industry. Case studies and concrete application examples ensure a high level of practical relevance. Soft skill topics such as negotiation skills and selection of management teams round off the program. Through regular participation in the course as well as a final case study presentation, the participants achieve a formalization of their knowledge with the degree “Certified Private Equity Analyst (TUM/BVK)®”.
