1st Annual European Life Sciences Impact Summit
We are pleased to announce that the 1st Annual European Healthcare Impact Summit (#Sachs_EHIS) will take place on the 6th of October 2026 at the Mövenpick Hotel Basel. The event will be part of the Sachs Autumn Life Sciences Week (#SALSW), which will also incorporate the 26th Annual Biotech in Europe Forum (#Sachs_BEF).
The EHIS will replace the 13th Annual HealthTech Investment Forum (#Sachs_HTIF), previously hosted in Basel, and the 8th Annual HealthTech Innovation Days (HTID), previously hosted in Paris. It will continue HTID’s tradition of hosting a high-profile October summit, advancing discussions across the European healthcare ecosystem, and bringing innovative solutions to patients. The programme will highlight European world-leading innovation across multiple medical fields, including orphan diseases.
The physical programme will consist of panels and keynotes/workshops, which will be available on-demand by the 15th of October. Additionally, there will be pre-arranged in-person meetings, live and on-demand company showcases, as well as a networking reception. Recordings of the presentations will be uploaded by the 13th of October. During the online week, virtual meetings will be available through the online meeting system.
We anticipate around 300 delegates attending in-person & virtually, with up to 20 company presentations by established and emerging companies offering innovative solutions, seeking investment, and partnering opportunities. This will include a limited number of live presentations taking place in a dedicated parallel presentation track, alongside virtual company showcases, which will be available on demand. Recorded sessions will also be added on demand on the Event Portal during the virtual week.
The SALSW brings together a global audience of senior pharma, biotech, HealthTech, MedTech and digital health executives, alongside bankers, consultants, financial and corporate investors, along with a select number of service providers. The EHIS will focus on the broader healthcare ecosystem, bringing together KOLs, leading healthcare organisations, hospitals, scientists, and life sciences and HealthTech executives. Its programme will highlight innovation across medtech/devices, diagnostics, drug discovery, and digital health.
